Class Times & Rules

On Scheduled Thursdays -

Drawing will begin promptly at 1:30pm and end at 2:30pm.

Pinterest will begin promptly at 2:30pm and end 3:30pm.

All students must be picked up no later than 4:00, as our family leaves for another commitment at that time.

If it would work best for parents and siblings to stay at my house during the class hours, there will be quiet places to sit and read/study. You are welcome to stay as long as there is supervision of your own children and the classes are not disrupted. Food and drink are only allowed in my kitchen nook, but that will be available for your use.

There are lovely walking trails in our neighborhood, as well. (Plus, a couple geocaching spots too!)

Class Rules:

1) TIME: Do your best to be on time. We only have 2 hours a month per class, please, make them a priority.

2) ABSENT: Let me know when you will be absent. If you want an assignment early, let me know. Homework due on the day you were absent will be due when you return. Homework assigned on the day you were absent should be turned in within 2 classes. I will hold handouts and give them to you when you return.

3) HOMEWORK: The expectation will be that homework will be completed and turned in on time. If you are consistently not doing your homework or forgetting to bring it, I will talk to your parents. A student who displays a disregard for doing the work will be asked to leave the class. Of course, sicknesses, emergencies and vacations are exceptions, I would appreciate each student doing their best to have the habit of turning in their completed work on time when possible. I'm always here to help!

 4) CONDUCT: All students are expected to speak and act with respect
toward the teacher and one another. Students should be attentive in class, follow instructions, obey rules, respect property and act in a manner that would encourage others and honor Christ. (Mocking, criticizing, arguing, fighting, use of crude language or joking, or taking the Lord's name in vain is unacceptable.) If a student's speech or conduct is inappropriate, she will receive a warning and if conduct continues, her parent will be contacted. Multiple warnings may result in being asked to leave the class.
